Monday 04.06.13 Ben Roters

Hello everyone, I'm on holiday at Rhosneigr with my gran and grandad. Last week they had Charlie and this week it's my turn and I'm really looking forward to it. We arrived early afternoon and headed straight for the beach, I found some new mates and got chatting to one of the local girls. ( it looks like I'm in for a good time )

I woke to lovely blue skies this morning and after breakfast it was off to Valley car boot. Charlie said it was full of junk, but I thought it was fab and spent every penny I had on some right good stuff. It was then back to the beach for a nose bag! I mean picnic, and after lunch I managed to make friends with two girls from Audenshaw who were very nice, but unfortunately they are staying on the mainland so I may not see them again. Later on we went back to the apartment to freshen up as we were dining alfresco ( that's fish and chips on the beach for us Northerners ) just as we had finished the red arrows flew over us and did a fantastic display.

Had a really fab day, but I think my grandad must be losing it. He got us all up early this morning and whisked us off to Snowdonia mountain railway for which he had booked tickets over the Internet. When we arrived he left Me and nana having a drink while he collected the tickets, when he came back he was as red as a beet root and said we both had to smack his hand, we both said why and he said when he got to the counter he explained to the very nice lady that he had booked the 12.30 train, of which she replied that's fine Sir but its not until 12.30 tomorrow. ( What a numpty ) so we both give his hand a wack and now it's as red as his face!

He did however have a back up plan which was GreenWood forest park which was absolutely brill, I also met Molly and Lizzie from Audenshaw which was a surprise. There is plenty to do here and I started off with the great green run which is sledging down a steep slope. Then it was off to have ago at Longbow archery, I managed to get a bullseye with a little help from the instructor. We did the jungle boats, barefoot trail, giant jumper, donkey ride, tree top towers, and much more. I also went on the green dragon roller coaster 10 times

Hope grandad hurries up with the tickets

Thursday 06.06.13 Ben Roters

It was up early again and this time we did catch the train which goes right to the top of Snowdon it's 1,085M or 3,560ft above sea level. The views from the top were fab, but it was abit scarey as it was very steep and a long way down if you slipped, so I keeped a tight grip on Nanas hand. I did have a shock on the way down as I met Mrs Light who is my reading teacher at school. After we went straight back to Rhosneigr for paddle and play on the beach. At tea time we walked to the oyster catcher and had our tea in a beach hut, gran and grandad had Snowdonia burger and I had chicken strips in batter with chips which was very nice.

Saturday 05.04.13

Me and Charlie both had a good nights sleep and was looking forward to today's activities, after breakfast it was off to foel farm which is a fab place, we fed the animals, I even held a one week old baby lamb which was very cute. We had a picnic in the sun then I had a pony ride on doughnut. All of us had a ride on a tractor, then on a trailer which was towed by a quad bike, it was very bumpy we thought we were going to loose Charlie on the corners, but he managed to stop in the trailer.
